…And so I arrived in Reykjavik, Iceland, January 4th, to Play pro basketball for a team called Haukar. This is my second time in Iceland playing pro basketball. Last year I was on team called Skallagrimur, it was rough haha. Im excited to be here again, though, and ready to play! Basketball is the equivalent to what Music is to me… I have been doing both forever! So dont think this is something new to me. I usually wear #13, but this year I have been given #6… I can rock with it… Dr. Jay wore it, and I was born in the 6th month…
I arrived in the middle of the season, just in time for a few more regular season games, and playoffs. Right now, with me on the team, we are 1-1. Things are good so far here, and to add to it.. I just got a great package from my friends here at vitaminTHICK.
Im going to answer some commonly asked questions about Iceland for you all, and give you a little insight on the country.
Iceland is about the same size as Ohio. Its not completely made of ice lol. The weather is cold, but not crazy freezing temperatures like you think. Its about 20-45 degrees right now. The place is beautiful, Many mountains, and hills, and plains, and of course Ocean. Iceland is an Island, if you didn’t know. They have KFC, Taco Bell, Ruby Tuesdays, Subway, Dominos, and a couple more spots. Its very Americanized, but still very different and cultured. They have their own type of food, but also the normal food we have in America. Overall, its a very cool place to visit, trust me.
